A vegetable Haat was set up at Little One for the children to learn about the fruits and vegetables in a healthy and interesting way. The children played the roles of vegetable vendors and customers and bought fruits and vegetables using the currency notes. The children dressed in their bright costumes participated enthusiastically and enjoyed playing the roles they were in. The motive behind celebrating this day was to make our little ones aware about the different vegetables, health benefits, colours, shapes, measuring scale, currency etc. The experience of creating vegetable market at school gave the little ones a sense of accomplishment, achievement and helped in building self-confidence. This adventure was a good learning experience for our young ones and helped them to lay the foundation of healthy eating habits. It was a refreshing change from their regular classroom activities.
