Early childhood education is the most important part of education system for the upbringing of an individual. When a baby is born he/she is like a fresh bud ready to bloom. The brain of the baby is ready to learn and experience new things related to day to day life activities. When it comes to learning, it starts once the baby starts to respond. Definitely the baby learns things from its surroundings. But if we talk about early childhood education then it is essential as the child learns things that helps him/ her to survive according to societal norms.
The individual has grown from a baby to a toddler where the energy of the child is at its peak. The early education helps to channelize the same in a productive form. The child learns to be obedient, punctual and also the concentration power of the child develops. He/ she learns about the moral values and also the basics that helps him/ her to pursue higher education.
In the recent era, real life study has become a major part in the education system wherein little toddlers are taught by role plays and also making them experience things in real life. Visual experiences leave greater impact on toddler’s mind. Also the child learns how to behave socially. The child learns how to behave with other people around, sharing of their belongings and also being independent.
Early childhood education also explores a child’s hidden capability by introducing extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, sports etc.
In my opinion the early childhood education is the mandatory part of any learning system and this should be focused because the pre-primary teachers are like potters. The shape that they will give to the raw soil like kids, the same will remain for the rest of their lives.
